Taslimi Lectureship on the Baha’i Faith in Iran, broadens the scope of UCLA’s Iranian Studies Program to include a scholarly course on the Baha’i Faith. The Foundation is also working to support additional programs in the Department of Near Eastern Studies at UCLA.
This is in support of the Global Institute for Health and Human Rights (IHHR) at SUNY in Albany, which seeks to support at-risk students, both on campus and online, including those who have been banned from receiving an education. It also supports the IHHR through holding events for the Institute.
The Foundation has supported the Festival of Iranian Arts Culture at Stanford University, showcasing Iran’s rich culture through public talks, performances and workshops. The program is in memory of the late Professor Amin Banani, eminent scholar of Persian history and literature at UCLA and one of the first Iranians to get a PhD in History from Stanford.
The Keep Children in School Foundation provides education scholarships to children in Tehran, Iran, who are otherwise unable to afford school attendance. Taslimi Construction employees volunteer with this organization and the Foundation itself supports one child each
This initiative provides support to the Santa Monica-Malibu Education Foundation (SMMEF) through fundraising and pro bono construction activities.
This initiative supports the USC Architectural Guild, through membership and various annual programs that provide direct financial support and professional guidance to students, faculty, and alumni of the School of Architecture. year.
